株式会社MIYUKIのビーズキットシリーズ「Beads Déco」にて、イラストアートワークを担当しました。

本シリーズは、イラストの上にビーズを貼ることで完成するクラフトキットであり、ユーザー自身が手を動かしながら作品を仕上げていく体験型プロダクトです。1月から12月までの全12種類を制作し、それぞれの季節をテーマに、楽しさや彩りを感じられる表現を目指しました。

制作にあたっては、完成したビジュアルだけでなく、「どのようにビーズを選び、どのように貼っていくか」という体験そのものを意識しながら設計。使用するビーズの種類や色味、粒の大きさなどを想定し、専門職の方と相談を重ねながら、ビーズで装飾したときに最も美しく見える構図やモチーフを検討しました。

また、初めての方でも楽しめるよう、難易度や作業のしやすさにも配慮し、直感的に「つくってみたい」と思える親しみやすいビジュアルを大切にしています。完成後はインテリアとして飾ることができるよう、日常の中に小さな彩りを添える存在となることを目指しました。

イラストを「見るもの」から「手を動かして完成させるもの」へと拡張することで、創作の楽しさや没入感を体験として届けるプロジェクトです。

I was responsible for the illustration artwork for the “Beads Déco” craft kit series by MIYUKI.This series is an interactive product in which users complete each piece by placing beads onto a printed illustration. Across 12 designs, from January to December, each artwork was created to reflect the unique atmosphere and joy of the seasons.In developing the illustrations, I focused not only on the final visual outcome but also on the experience of making—considering how users would choose and place each bead. The compositions and motifs were carefully designed in collaboration with specialists, taking into account the types, colors, and sizes of beads to ensure the finished piece would appear visually balanced and vibrant.Special attention was also given to accessibility, allowing even beginners to enjoy the process intuitively. Each design was created to inspire a sense of curiosity and delight, while also functioning as a decorative piece that can be displayed in everyday living spaces.By expanding illustration from something to be viewed into something to be completed by hand, this project offers a creative experience that invites users into the act of making.
